Commencement Ceremony to Be Streamed Live Online

Chris ReganIthaca College looks forward to hosting its 119th Commencement this Sunday, May 18, 2014, when we welcome over 1,300 new graduates to the ranks of the IC Alumni Association!

The Commencement ceremony will be shown live on the web. It may be viewed at this link beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday morning, with the main ceremony beginning at 10:00 a.m. Portions of the ceremony and a photo gallery will also be available for viewing on the Commencement website the week following Commencement.

About the Speakers

Emmy Award–winning writer Chris Regan '89 [pictured] will deliver the main address during the ceremony. Currently contributing to Fox Television's Family Guy, Regan won five Emmys and two Peabody Awards while serving on the writing staff for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart from 1999 to 2006. Regan earned his degree in cinema and photography from the Roy H. Park School of Communications.

Also making remarks will be Ithaca College president Tom Rochon, senior class president Erin Smith '14, and board of trustees chairman Tom Grape '80.

Severe Weather Plan

In the case of severe weather in the morning, the outdoor ceremony would be postponed until 1:00 p.m. In the event that severe weather is predicted for the entire day, Commencement would be moved into the Athletics and Events Center.

Any decision regarding changes to the Commencement schedule will be made as early as possible and will be announced on campus, through the Campus Center information desk at (607) 274-3201, via, on radio station WICB FM 91.7 (, and via official Ithaca College social media outlets.
