REFUNDS: If you purchased tickets prior to these price changes, please note we are in the process of refunding the difference and expect to have refunds completed no later than October 14.

REGISTRATION

Where do I register for IC in the City - Reunion and Cortaca '22 events?

Registration is NOW OPEN! You can visit https://registration.socio.events/e/icinthecity2022 to register and purchase your tickets for events hosting during IC in the City - Reunion and Cortaca '22.

How will I know if my registration has been received and processed?

You will receive an email confirmation – be sure to check your junk and spam folders!

Can I pay at the door for a Reunion event?

You may not be granted entry at the door due to capacity and/or guarantees provided to our venues. We strongly encourage and prefer pre-registration for all events to ensure proper space and meal planning. We kindly ask all alumni and their guests to register by Thursday, November 3, 2022.

I've already registered, but I want to add an additional event, what do I do?

To add an additional event after your initial registration, you simply need to go back to our registration page, select the new event you wish to add, and enter the same email  and contact information you entered the first time. If you forgot which email address you signed up with, it will be listed on your confirmation form sent to you after your initial registeration. If you are having trouble finding this, contact IC's Office of Alumni Engagement and we resend your confirmation form to you.

How do I cancel my event registration?

To cancel your event registration, please contact IC's Office of Alumni Engagement at alumni@ithaca.edu or (866) 442-2586. To receive a full refund on your cancellation, you must cancel at least 10 business days prior to the event. Are refunds allowed?

Can I find out who else is attending?

You can see other attendees by joining our event app. Join the event app on your mobile device or on your desktop computer. Follow this link to download the app. When you successfully have downloaded the app to your phone, and search "IC in the City" to get the correct event displayed. To see a list of other attendees, click "Attendees" in the app.

Can I get contact information for other alumni before Reunion and Cortaca ’22?

You may look up and contact fellow IC alumni through the Alumni Directory.

REUNION

What will be on the Reunion 2022 schedule of events?

The weekend schedule will include an exclusive IC student, faculty, and alumni performance, reunion happy hours and dinners, the Alumni Awards, and more! In addition to Reunion events, the Cortaca Jug game is scheduled for Saturday, November 12, 2022, with a 1 p.m. kickoff time, and we hope you’ll consider being there.

How can I nominate an Ithaca College alum for the Alumni Awards?

Nominations for the 2022 Alumni Awards are currently closed. Check back soon for news surrounding this year's award recipients. 

What activities will there be for my class reunion?

You can view all events for your class reunion on the schedule of events and on your class reunion page. Also on your class reunion page, you can see your class reunion committee members and get a link to your class reunion Facebook group.

Will there be any reunion events happening virtually?

No, at this time all events will be in-person only.

CORTACA JUG FOOTBALL GAME

How can I get tickets to the 2022 Cortaca Jug Football Game at Yankee Stadium?

Ticket prices range from $24.50 to $69.50. At ticketmaster.com, you will be able to purchase up to 19 individual seats on the Ithaca College home team side of the stadium (down the first base line). It is strongly advised that you purchase tickets via this process to guarantee access to the game. All tickets will be delivered digitally, and mobile presentation will be the sole method of entry. No printed tickets will be made available.

If I’m in a Reunion year class ending in 2 or 7, should I purchase specific tickets?

We recommend that members of reunion class years ending in 2 and 7 purchase seats in sections 113, 114, 213, 214, and 215. While you can purchase seats anywhere in the stadium, these sections are suggested for reunion class years.

How can I get tickets for a group larger than 19 people?

We are no longer accepting inquiries for group tickets at this time. 

How do I get access to my tickets?

We recommend that all mobile tickets are downloaded and accessible before proceeding through the security screenings at Yankee Stadium.  Tickets cannot be transferred after they have been scanned and Guests are inside the Stadium.

 

HOW TO ACCESS YOUR MOBILE TICKETS

 

MLB Ballpark App

    1. Download the MLB Ballpark app in the App Store
    2. Open the App and Click on “Tickets”
    3. Login using your “My Yankees Account” information
    4. Select the game you would like to manage.  You can also transfer ticket at this point (see information below)
    5. Mobile Tickets: Please note ticket verification QR codes will appear 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time of the game.

Can I tailgate outside of Yankee Stadium?

Yankee Stadium does not allow tailgating within their parking lots. Ithaca College will host a pregame event at Stan's spot bars, and all alumni are invited to participate in this event before the Cortaca Jug game!

LODGING AND NYC

Where should I stay while in New York City?

The Marriott Marquis, located in Times Square, will serve as the exclusive host hotel for the weekend, with room blocks available under the event name “2022 Cortaca Jug Football Game at Yankee Stadium.” Please visit this link to secure the special rate of $259/night for the nights of Thursday, November 10, through Sunday, November 13. The number of rooms at this special rate are limited and are available only until the block is full. You can book a room for one to all three of those nights and you can add nights to your booking that extend beyond our room block; however, those additional nights will have varying rates. PARKING AND TRANSPORTATION

 Where should I park at the Marriott Marquis?

The Marriott Marquis offers valet parking for their guests ranging in price from $70-$95 per night depending on vehicle type. There is an in/out fee of $30 per use if a guest wants to use their car during the day. The entrance to the valet is located on 46th street between 7th and 8th avenues.

We also recommend utilizing Spot Hero to reserve parking throughout the city. You can reserve parking prior to your arrival in NYC and selecting where you would like to park and for how long.

How can I travel to Yankee Stadium?

Driving directions, public transportation, and parking information for Yankee Stadium can all be found here.

What sort of transportation will be offered during Reunion & Cortaca?

We will not be offering formal transportation throughout the city. However, there are many means of transportation in NYC: Subways, Buses, Taxis, etc. Here is a helpful link for your transportation needs. 

Does the Marriott Marquis offer airport pickup?

The Marriott Marquis does not offer airport pickup. Please visit Airlink or call 877-599-8200 to arrange airport pickup.

ATTIRE

What is the suggested attire?

Casual and comfortable – you can’t go wrong in blue and gold! New York City in November will likely be chilly, so pack layers. Dress for evening events are business casual to cocktail attire.

Will the Reunion events be handicapped accessible?

Yes, but please notify the Office of Alumni and Family Engagement of any specific accommodations by contacting bpeltieramborn@ithaca.edu or 607-274-5198 in advance, as alternate arrangements may need to be made for some events.

Will you accommodate my dietary needs?

Yes, we will provide dietary accommodations for the Reunion events taking place at the Marriott Marquis and the Westin, if informed. Please indicate your dietary preferences on your registration form.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

Cancellation Policy: Ithaca College reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances, which would make the event non-viable. If Ithaca College cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund.

Refund Policy: To receive a full refund, you must cancel at least 10 business days prior to the event by contacting alumniweekend@ithaca.edu or (866) 442-2586. Special circumstances will be taken into consideration. If you decide to not attend the event and would like the event cost to become a charitable contribution for tax purposes, you must notify the Office of Alumni and Family Engagement, in writing, that you will not be attending the event and that you wish to contribute the event cost as a charitable deduction. This notification must be made prior to IC in The City -Reunion & Cortaca '22 event as retroactive refunds cannot be processed.
