Meet Scott Lozea '91

Where do you live?Scott Lozea

I live in Wayne, New Jersey.

What do you do for work currently?

I coordinate all aspects of NBC Sports’ Post Production, including workflow and personnel.

What did you learn at IC that helped you get to where you are today (personally or professionally)?

The biggest takeaway from my College years was communicating and listening. A smile also goes a long way.

How did you get involved with IC after graduating (did you volunteer? Did you speak in a classroom? Attend events?)?

My continued involvement with IC after graduation includes actively participating in IC’s NYC Network Night as Ambassador for the School of Communications. I have also spoken to classes both on Campus as well as NYC classes.

Why do you LOVE IC?

I absolutely love meeting other Bombers in the television industry, of which there are plenty. There is a rich camaraderie that bridges time. The talent that attends Ithaca College and its graduates are multi-talented, incredibly nice, and always stand out to Employers.

Anything else interesting/pertinent that you’d like to include: (Are you close with other alumni? A professor you loved? Student orgs you were involved with?)

I was the first Station Manager of the Park School of Communications as a Junior when it first opened its doors. Park continues to flourish, and every year, intelligent, well-taught students enter the workforce, and NBC Sports has certainly recognized and hired IC students as Interns, as well as employed top notch graduates.
It is my pleasure to continue the Bomber tradition of Excellence.
